Task 1 - Secondary Source Images

These images show my second source images, which I used to get certain body parts of the bugs and form a new bug.

I chose this image because I like the way the eyes look. I used the eyes in one of the designs for my bug.

I chose this image because I like the antler and the legs of this bug. I used the legs in one of my bug designs 

This is my favorite image because I really like the look and colour of the wings. The wings were used in a design of my bug, a 3D clay model and the final mixed media illustration of my bug.

I chose to use this image of a hornet because I like the shape and colour of the bug. I did not use this in any of my designs but it would have made a good design.

I picked this image because I thought the torso would be a good starting point for a bug design but I ended up now using this in any design or model.

This image of a ladybug looks very good. The torso is very big which is why I chose this image specifically. I used the head and the body for multiple designs, and I used the body for two 3D Models and a design idea.

I also chose an image of a scorpion because I wanted to use the gland in one of my designs. However, I could not find the right design to use the gland or any other part of the scorpion so in the end I never used it.

This final image shows a spider handing from a web. This was the perfect image to choose because you could see everything about the spider. The length of the spiders and the size of the body were very clearly visible here so I ended up using the legs in a design and 3D Models.
